Alexa Valle (they/them) is a writer, proofreader, and editor living in the New York City metro area. They currently work as a Senior Publishing Review Specialist for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Publishing Review Services group, where they are a project manager on copyediting projects. They are also looking to start up their own freelance editing business, offering development editing, copyediting, and proofreading for a variety of media. In the past, they have been described as “Errol Flynn with a red pen.”
In their spare time, Alexa loves spending with their pup, Frankie, being all kinds of creative (including, but not limited to, writing, embroidery, crochet, watercolor, and drawing), sitting in the sun, and dreaming.
